Individuals or organisations committed to enhancing the participation and advancement of women in STEM fields.

An educational establishment or qualification provider that can demonstrate they are inclusive place to study in terms of STEM course offering and opportunities and support for a diverse student cohort.

An individual aged 5-16, who is currently at school, who has shown exemplary progress in a STEM subject, through a project or initiative they have undertaken.
An individual who is currently in full time or part time, further or higher education (college, university – incl. distance learning programme or part of an apprenticeship scheme) who has shown exemplary progress in a STEM subject, through a project or initiative they have undertaken.
A young person (aged 16-30) who is currently working on a project to help improve a STEM initiative and who shows leadership qualities, to lead on potential STEM initiatives for the future.

A STEM business that puts sustainability at the heart of what they do and which has resulted in a positive environmental impact.

Someone who has dedicated their career to STEM and the impact they have had on a community or organisation or STEM segment /area.

Individuals who inspire and empower others, (particularly those from underrepresented groups), through mentorship, outreach, and community initiatives that promote interest in STEM fields.

Meena Chander

Meena Chander is the CEO of Events Together and boasts an impressive track record in the global corporate events and exhibitions industry.

Six years ago, she launched the ‘This Is Us’ Conference, marking Milton Keynes’ first Diversity and Inclusion Conference. In 2023, she built on this success by introducing the ‘This Is Us’ D&I Awards.

In 2024, Meena continued her success and produced MK’s inaugural STEM Awards.

Based in Milton Keynes, Meena is dedicated to fostering growth and development in the area.

All submissions will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Each Judge will be required to sign an NDA in advance of the judging.
